Nandanik Sanstha’s Durgotsav is all set to welcome devotees

Nandanik Sanstha is geared up to celebrate Durgotsav at Rohi Villa, Lane 7, Koregaon Park from 1st-5th October. The Sanstha is looking forward to welcoming back devotees of Ma Durga and celebrating the 19th year of Nandanik Sanstha’s Durgaotsav with grandeur and responsibilities.

Celebrations will start with Shashti Puja on the 1st of October right until Sindoor Khela and Visarjan on Dussehra, the 5th of October.  Pushpanjali and Sandhya Aarti will be conducted every day from 10.30 am onwards and 6.30 pm onwards respectively.

We have been extremely sincere in our endeavor in protecting the environment through our actions. Therefore, we do not encourage the use of plastics within the premises of the pandal. We use eco-friendly materials for the Idol and decoration; this has been our policy for many years now. Garbage disposal and management at the source itself is also an area for which we take full responsibility.

This year we have Jalongi – A freshwater fish and seafood online shopping application that has partnered with Nandanik Sanstha for the Durotsav.  

Evening Program Schedule:

  • October 1st- Children’s drama and recitation, paying homage to the genius Sukumar Ray, father of Satyajit Ray

       Dance performance by the youth of Nandanik Sanstha


  • October 2nd - Raghab Chatterjee, who is a musician, singer, and composer

  • October 3rd - Fusion band Ujan, the Band specializes in the folk fusion genre 

       Nandanik's very own music performance 


  • On the 4th of October -  Drama featuring senior members of Nandanik Sanstha 

Choir Performance called ‘Tara der shesh tarpan’, paying homage to recently departed singers e,g, Lata Mangeshkar, Sandhya Mukherjee, Nirmala Misra, KK, and Bhupinder Singh.
